Iran’s Tavasoli nominee for Best Women Futsal Goalkeeper

Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iran’s goalkeeper Farzaneh Tavasoli has been nominated for Best Women Goalkeeper of the World.

According to Futsal Planet, Tavasoli will vie with nine other girls to win the one of the most traditional prizes of futsal.

She helped Iran win AFC Women’s Futsal Championship in September.

“I am happy and I think it’s a great honor for Iran’s futsal. I think the Portuguese goalie (Ana Catarina Silva Pereira) could win the award,” Tavasolis told the Tasnim News Agency.
