The 22 year old started the New Year with an outstanding month, providing 2 assists and 1 goal in his 4 appearances for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.
His passing accuracy of 67% and a rating of 8.02 points gave him the top place among Asian players in Europe in January. Augsburg defender Hong Jeong-Ho of South Korea and AC Milan’s Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda trail Jahanbakhsh in 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
