Tasnim – ISFAHAN, Iran’s Zob Ahan coach Yahya Golmohammadi left to rue missed chances in the match against Lekhwiya.

The Iranian football team was held to a 0-0 draw by Lekhwiya in Group B of the AFC Champions League on Tuesday.

“We played a good game,” said Golmohammadi. “We had a good start in the first half and we could have scored but we missed our chances.”

“I wish we had earned the full three points but a point is also satisfying.”

“Lekhwiya is a good team, particularly while attacking, and it has dangerous players who had entered the match to compensate for the first meeting. However we also could have won the game if we had taken our chances,” he added.
