Mohsen Torki wins IPL’s ‘Golden Whistle’

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Mohsen Torki has been selected as the best referee of the Iran Professional League (IPL) in 2015-16 season.
The 43-year-old referee received the IPL Golden Whistle in the ceremony held in Olympic Hotel in Tehran on Sunday.
Torki has officiated Tehran derby seven times.
He holds the record for refereeing the derby in the history of Iranian football.
Tehran derby is a football match between the two prominent Tehran clubs Esteghlal and Persepolis.
The 16th edition of the Iran Professional League will kick off on July 25.
