IPL: Esteghlal edges Past Padideh, Saba loses to Naft Tehran [VIDEO]

Loading...Tasnim – TEHRAN, Esteghlal defeated Padideh of Mashhad 1-0 in 14th week of the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
In the match held in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Esteghlal beat visiting team 1-0 thanks to Jaber Ansari’s header in the 69th minute.
Furthermore, Naft Tehran edged past Saba 1-0 to move to third place in IPL table.
Paykan also defeated Saipa 1-0 in Tehran and moved to fourth place.
On Friday, IPL pacesetter Persepolis will face Zob Ahan in Isfahan and Tractor Sazi will host Sepahan.
Gostaresh Foolad will play holder Esteghlal Khuzestan in Tabriz, struggling Machine Sazi will face Siahjamegan in Mashhad, and Foolad will host Sanat Naft.
