Iran Futsal remains sixth in World Rankings

The Iranian team sits sixth place with 1654 points.
Brazil remains top in the world with 1935 points. Spain (1807) and Russia (1700) are second and third respectively.
Portugal (1696) and Argentina (1667) sit fourth and fifth places above Iran.
Asian teams Japan and Thailand are 16th and 18th with 1358 and 1285 points, respectively in the ranking.
Iran finished at third place at the FIFA Futsal World Cup Colombia 2016 after a 4-3 penalty shootout win over Portugal following a 2-2 draw.
Iran also won the title of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Championship for the 12th time in February and claimed the title in the Asian Indoor Games in September.
