Vahid Amiri out for three weeks
Tehran Times – TRABZON, Trabzonspor’s new signing Vahid Amiri has been sidelined for three weeks with knee injury.
Amiri sustained a right knee injury in the friendly match against Cagliari held in early August.
He will require three weeks rest after an MRI scan.
The 29-year-old joined Trabzonspor on July 20 on a two-year contract.
Amiri has missed Trabzonspor’s opening match against Istanbul Basaksehir, scheduled for Sunday.
Vahid Amiri played every minute of their 2018 World Cup campaign, where they impressed against Morocco, Spain and Portugal.
