Carlos Queiroz has signed as Team Melli new coach following some intense negotiation with IFF . He was introduced to the Iranian media about an hour ago and his first statement was "My name is Carlos Queirozs , and if you find difficulty in pronouncing my name , just call me Carlos!"

Brief statements from the Press Conference.

- I am not promising any success , but I have a dream and that would be taking Team Melli to Brazil for the World cup. I think I can do it and it is going to be hard work starting from today. It is not a single person duty but also the duty of many others to achieve that task.

- Nothing is absolutely guaranteed in football. Results of matches could be disappointing at times , but what matters is to achieve the objectives and make the fans happy at the end.

- Although I cannot guarantee wins all the time , I can guarantee one thing and that is that I and my coaching staff will give it all and do our utmost for the sake of the Team's success.

- My main challenge would be to ensure that the players of Team Melli have the best conditions and environment when they are in the training camp and during preparation for matches.
