Amazing to think Ueda was so far down in the pecking order at the beginning of the season, didn't get a single minute, and now has been the starting centre forward since returning from the Asian cup, over Gimenez !
Shows how Slot doesn't have favourites and if you perform you will get a good run. He's given Alireza two good stints to prove himself as a starter, as opposed to Potter who rewarded two good games by dumping himComment

I'm watching Ueda and although he isn't statistically as good as Gimenez was when he was scoring each game, Ueda really works hard and brings a lot more to the team as a whole. I can see why Slot has preferred him - now he has subbed off every other attacking player but left Ueda on for another 90 mins
I reckon Taremi under Slot would have been amazing
