i am sure there will be surprises from our players as there always are, but so far Ghandipour, Andarz, Razzaghinia and Gholizadeh look like potential stars.

Ghandipour is the youngest player on the team and already getting consistent first team mins at Peykan at age 16! He is a very explosive, powerful, fast striker.

Andarz and Razzaghinia are best from FC Kia. Andarz the RB had a standout Asian Cup to qualify for this tournament, scored against SK. Another very physically impressive player who was very switched on defensively. Razzaghinia is proper 8, very tall and great engine/speed to get box to box. Thought he was the best player by some distance in the loss vs Japan at AC.

Gholizadeh from Sepahan is very technical wide player, great first touch. Also quite strong physically, seems to be a theme with this group. Tendency for khore behavior is high but bags of potential.

As we saw with Chamanian u17 team their futures are very hard to predict, but those that go to europe early will give themselves a chance (although as we see with hosseinzadeh, delfi, allahyar that is also no guarantee of anything).

Really its about injuries. Delfi and Allahyar got plagued by injuries that stunted their development. The most important thing is them going to less physical leagues and developing nicely.

Almost all our important players get long injuries, whatever the league. Taha Shariati stayed in Iran and got injured. Same with Salmani. Of course championship is a 100% guaranteed injury but the other leagues doesn't guarantee anything

Salmani injury is 100% of federation shit planning by the way, I think in like the span of 3 weeks he played:

3 games of Asian Cup qualifiers,
then travelled back to Iran to play 2 ACL games, played 2 PGPL games, travelled to China for Asian Games and played 2 games, then travelled back to Iran for ACL, went BACK to China to help with Asian games, came BACK to Iran to help with PGPL.

I think he played something like 4 games a week for 3 weeks. Poor kids knees probably gave out because everyone kept refusing to give him a break

Taha had several trials in Europe, at least a few in PSV Eindhoven, but he got 2 very bad consecutive injuries before he was even 19.
He is now in Gol Gohar.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
