My take on first half:
- We were playing our game. We let Iraq have possession in their own half and they couldnt do anything with it, went for long range shots or long balls to nowhere. For a few minutes our defence looked shaky and we actually looked weaker after our goal. I hope CQ can calm him self down and make a formation with 10 men clear with everyone's objectives. (ignoring the cards) This wasn't a bad half, they had one chance only. This is our game still.
The players:
- Haghighi : Confident, good save, alert. I feel calm with him net, however he needs to work on his goal kicks.
- Ghafouri: Explosive RB, is linking better with Dejagah and that can be deadly. Great cross (Assist)
- Pouraliganji: Solid
- Hosseini: Had a few mistakes in the very beggining but has been good since
- Pouladi: Sent off for no reason, first yellow BS, then to give a second yellow for being pushed by a goalie (yes he over sold it but this ref is out of his
- Ando: Has been playing well
- Nekounam: His position does a lot off the ball
- Dejagah: Is leading the counters, nice dribbles, looking to score, i think Ashkan will get us a second goal
- Shojaei: Was playing well in the beggining nice dribbles, drew a foul, is doing well off the ball (had one bad giveaway)
- Hajsafi: Was playing well, now time to pretty much control all of left wing! I think he can do it.
- Azmoun: Unbelieavble, great job by him!
Second half:
- It will be tough to predict but I dont feel like this will be a 1-0 game. I hope we get another goal, and hope to get Reza in as well near the end to seal the deal.
- We may see Amiri come in to help Hajsafi as well (Hajsafi cannot get a yellow or else we will be without a LB thanks to this ref)
