Iran - Chile: Post match discussion

    Iran 2-0 Chile

    Post match? No need.

We had a pre match prediction that was spot on.

But even all of that is irrelevant when we are likely going to be playing with the same predictable formation and tactics which has already been figured out and beaten by a couple of crappy coaches like Shenaishil and Susic.

My predictions for TM under CQ have been mostly on the optimistic side, but I'm afraid the most optimistic prediction I can make for this match is 3-1 Chile and that's if CQ surprises with some pressing/attacking football which at this point has a VERY low chance of happening. If we stick with the same old same old players, formation and tactics, I'm afraid the result will be much worse.

BE IN MIGAN GHEYRAT!!! you can tell they played with their hearts out to get results and convince everyone CQ needs to stay....what a game..honestly Chile just had one or two real opportunities the rest were half chances. We can win against Sweden and convince CQ to stay ))

I'm watching the Brazil v France match and at half time they are updating on all friendly matches. The host, with a surprised voice says "Iran 2 Chilli 0, that's for the books." Haha!

Chile treated this match for what it was. A friendly.
We treated it as if it was a World Cup match.

Who do you think is going to be better off in the long run?

Iran too Chilli hot for Lame Chile.

A historic victory over Chile even with their full squad for 30 minutes. 51st ranked beats 13th ranked.

Gheirat not only shown in Team Meli but our very own Iranian CQ.

Please stop bashing him and instead like the other 88% get behind the man.

great game boys, way to appreciate CQ for all he's done. They showed that CQ's hard work has paid off and he will leave this team with a solid basis. CQ is an Iranian hero (he's an honorary Iranian in my book!)

Is that why they put all their stars in with 30min left and still couldnt score? lets not forget we only had two subs and they had like 6 ! Our guys are in fantastic shape and Chile simply couldnt beat us.
