President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered head of Physical Education Organization(
) to form a group of experts and academics to investigate the reasons of poor results got by Iranian athletes in Beijing Olympic Games of 2008.
According to the Presidential Office website report on Saturday, the president wrote in his letter, "Although in the recent years, the country's sports had an accelerated and basic growth trend, the disappointing results need a serious and investigation and a more precise planning for improving the situation in the future."
The president underlined, "It is necessary to form a group of experts and academics to examine the existing situation and ways of removing weaknesses and obstacles and creating a full coordination among different sections of sports and report the result of the group work to me and the the nation."
