what a game, mexicans were much fitter and better. Italy looked slow with no attacking football.

lol italy's coach lippi has picked a bunch of old timers who are half injured, left home all the good players and they've had no friendlies. This italy team wont go far at all. But to their credit mexico has been preparing very well for the past 2 months, playing 7 friendlies with some top teams like holland and england, so they were MUCH more prepared.

Spain beat korea 1-0 with a wonder goal from NAVAS
He was the main threat during the whole game which was quiet boring. Korea defended very well and closed down spain for 85 minutes.
            Spain is still not 100%.

and saw the 2nd half of mexico-italy game. Mexico played italy off the park!

Ivory Coast beat Japan 2-0. Drogba scored the first goal, but got badly hurt by a very high challenge by Tulio. Dorgba has fractured his elbow, and is a serious doubt for the World Cup. Sven looked very anxious to find the result of the scan from the hospital.

I hope he stays fit, because if Ivory Coast want to go through from the group of death, then they need their talisman and captain fit.
