The tournament will be held from August 30, 2014 to September 14, 2014 in Spain

The draw was today.
Iran was thrown into the group of death unfortunately. Every team in Iran's group except for Iran and Egypt have a very good chance of getting into the finals.We will also be in the host nation's group.

just arsalan kazemi, he's 24, got drafted by 76ers but doesnt have a contract yet, he's playing in iran now, going back to US in few months to see if he can get a contract


haddadi, already played 4 yrs in NBA, but was too k00n goshad to learn anything and develop himself, so he's in china now...he's 27 i believe



we have samad bahrami, who has been around for few years but i doubt he can get NBA interest, he's close to 30 i believe

meh he's good for Iranian standards but for world standards, he's not anything special. He has the speed, but his ball handling isnt that great.

It could be worse we could of been in USA's group so be thankful.
